This Month in Boys Hockey
The boys hockey team played in Park Rapids on January 4th winning with the shut out with a score of 10-0! Hat trick for Senior Ethan Johnson with 4 goals. Scoring 2 is senior Lucas Magnusson. Senior Michael Johnson scored 1 goal. 1 from senior Blair Lindholm. 1 from junior Zach Lee. And scoring his first goal ever was Rudy Johnson!
On January 7th the prowler boys played Moorhead and had a tough loss with a score of 4-2. Scoring our two goals were senior Wyatt Ortloff and the other scored by senior Michael Johnson.
The boys played in Kittson Central and won with a score of 6-0 on January 12th. Two goals were scored by senior Lucas Magnusson. One by senior Blair Lindholm. One from senior Michael Johnson. One from junior Brendan Bushy. And one from senior Riley Bakken.
On January 19th the boys had a home game against East Grand Forks. We won with a 5-0 shut out! Senior Ethan Johnson with the hattrick (3 goals scored in one game). Senior Michael Johnson with a goal and another senior Lucas Magnusson with a goal!
On January 22 the boys had a great win against Duluth Denfeld winning 2-1. Goals were scored by senior Lucas Magnusson and junior Christian Larson.
On Saturday January 23 the boys played a tough game against Hibbing-Chisholm. They lost with a score of 3-2. The goals were made by senior Michael Johnson and other senior Ethan Johnson.
Tuesday January 26 the boys had a great win against Lake of the Woods. They won with a score of 7-2. Scoring for the Prowlers were seniors Ethan Johnson with 2, Michael Johnson, and Riley Bakken. Junior Brendan Bushy also with a goal. Sophomore Aaron Myers with the last goal of the night for our Prowlers.
On Thursday January 28 the boys hockey team played another great game against Crookston winning 8-4. Goals were scored by seniors Ethan Johnson with 3, Wyatt Ortloff, Kris Joppru, Jorde Sturgeon, Lucas Magnusson, and Logan Lane.
