This Month in Wrestling
Wrestling went over to Bemidji for their annual Rick Lee Lumberjack tournament on January 8th. The team ended up with four losses and two wins. The scores were, a really close dual of 34-39 loss to Farmington, a Hortonville loss of 11-63, a Moorhead loss of 33-39, a United North Central win 24-29, a really close dual that Thief River ended up losing to Bloomington Kennedy with a score of 38-36, and finally a close win against BCLB 33-35. Thief River ended up getting first place in Pool D. Jacob Davis and Josh Bernier ended up going undefeated all weekend.
January 16th, Thief River TakeDown Club hosted their annual Prowler Invite tournament. It was an individual tournament with our wrestlers taking 5th overall.
January 19th, Thief River hosted a triangular at the brick house and ended up beating East Grand Forks with a landslide win with a final score of 65-3. The Prowlers unfortunately lost with a close score of 37-31.
