Togas, Crowns, and Superheroes, Oh My!
Last week was all about superheroes, togas, and our schools never ending capacity for the competitive spirit. For the third year we saw a win for the class of 2017. However, with the trade off of getting to see Marvel Match.com, it was bearable. Wins came to every grade in some way, through broomball, or through the games in the activities fest. Our new underdogs this year, the Freshmen, beat each upperclass in at least one activity. They even managed to beat our activities champions, the Seniors, in castle guards. The shining moment for the class of 2018 came with the win broomball, successfully defending their title from the previous year.
In the end the Juniors won, but each class contributed to the competitions and earned their own victories. Even though the classes at LHS were pitted against each other, they all came together on Friday night at the dance, for conversation, music, and dancing. Being surrounded by classmates and friends is a good ending to Snofest week.
