The lady Prowlers played Detroit Lakes on March 5th at Moorhead High School for the Section Semis game. The first half ended with a close score of 14-16, with Detroit Lakes up by two. The student section was also filled with boys hockey, who got 3rd place in Class A at State. The student section gave the girls a bit of “potassium” with a cheer to kickstart the second half. Chanting out about bananas turned out to be effective because the Prowlers prevailed again, winning 39-30! The victorious game ended with even better statistics: the Prowlers had sophomore, Tiahna Nicholson lead the scoreboard with 13 points, senior Jenna Tadych followed with 10, and Senior Meleah Biermaier contributed 8 towards the Prowlers!
