Prowler Girls Basketball Are Going To State!
As many already know, the Prowler girls basketball team have been doing extremely well this season! They played the Alexandria Cardinals on Thursday, March 10th for the Section Finals game at MSUM. The first half ended with the Prowlers leading 29-24. The back and forth game went into overtime, after sophomore Tiahna Nicholson shot a layup with only 2.9 seconds left in the second half! Going into overtime, the score was 48-48 and with the support of the student section and band, the victorious Prowlers won the game 57-55! The leading scorers include an impressive 24 points from sophomore Tiahna Nicholson and 9 points each from senior Meleah Biermaier and sophomore Kylea Praska. Join the Prowlers at state on Tuesday at the Target Center against the number one seat: Hutchinson. The tip starts at 6:00 p.m.!
