Minnesota State True Team Meet

The Minnesota State True Team meet was held on May 10th at Detroit Lakes. The girls ranked third overall and the boys were ranked eighth overall (out of eleven teams). Here are some Prowler highlights of the track and field events:

Senior Kira Johnson placed third in the 100m dash (13.23).

The 100m dash was finished by Senior Ian Hutton, who got fifth (12.01).

Franklin Middle School students also brought home success: eighth grader Carley Johnson placed second in the 200m dash (26.77), and eighth grader Jerzie Finstad was fourth in the 3200m run (12:28.76) and took fifth in the 1600m run (5:35.92).

The girls placed first, both in the 4x100 meter relay (52.08) and the 4x200 meter relay (1:49.82).

Senior Meleah Biermaier took first in four events: the 100m hurdles (15.46), the 300m hurdles (47.74), the 800m run (2:21.58), and the triple jump (34-10).

Junior Payton Graham completed the high jump in fifth place (5-04).

Seniors Kaylee Eskeli and Kris Joppru finished the pole vault in fourth (8-06) and fifth place (10-06).
